Pinhole Photography

"Fragmented isolation"
a Pinhole Camera is a simple camera without a lens but with a tiny pinhole. I created the cameras by using found boxes, railroad board, mat board, hot glue, aluminum cans, black electrical tape, sandpaper, and a needle. the creation of building each box takes an enormous amount of time depending on the complexity of the box. each exposure outside lasts two to four seconds, while inside it takes minutes. I attempt to alter the space within the boxes; this creates fragmented images. During the creation of this series, the fragmented parts of a whole represented how my own life had turned into splintered parts while I learned to navigate life with chronic illnesses.
